Rasso Anniversary Minoan Edition apron, full leather in Natural and Coffee Brown color

A Rasso Anniversary Minoan Edition of a total leather apron which offers 7 premium quality leather cases for barber and hairdresser tools. It ties with detachable leather suspenders and waistband. It was handcrafted to celebrate the 5th year since the establishment of the Rasso company. The artwork on the apron was designed by a local Cretan artist specifically for this occasion and unique item, which was then meticulously laser etched on it to give this magnificent, one of a kind result.

Apron Artwork History:
⬢ On the bottom of the apron we can view a "Bull-leaping" representation (Ancient Greek: ταυροκαθάψια, taurokathapsia), which is a form of non-violent bull fighting based on an ancient ritual involving an acrobat leaping over the back of a charging bull. Ritual leaping over bulls is a motif of Middle Bronze Age figurative art, notably of Minoan Crete. This part of the artwork was inspired by "The Bull-Leaping Fresco from the Great Palace at Knossos, Crete".
⬢ On the left side of the apron (as pictured) we can view Ariadne, the daughter of Minos—the King of Crete and a son of Zeus—and Pasiphaë—Minos' queen and a daughter of Helios, holding one side of the legendary thread. According to Greek mythology, she fell in love with the Athenian hero Theseus and, with a thread or glittering jewels, helped him escape the Labyrinth after he slew the Minotaur, a beast with the head and tail of a bull and the body of a man, that Minos kept in the Labyrinth.
⬢ On the right side of the apron we see the thread—which graciously passes through the middle leather pocket—used by Theseus to escape the Labyrinth, almost ready to fall in the right pocket of the apron.
⬢ On the top half of the apron we can view a representation of the Minoan Labyrinth (Ancient Greek: Λαβύρινθος labúrinthos, which in Greek mythology, was an elaborate, confusing structure designed and built by the legendary artificer Daedalus for King Minos of Crete at Knossos. Its function was to hold the Minotaur, the monster eventually killed by the hero Theseus. Daedalus had so cunningly made the Labyrinth that he could barely escape it after he built it. In the center of it, a leather pocket with the iconic Minotaur "Rasso" logo embossed with pyrography on it, represents the room were the mythical creature Minotaur was imprisoned.

Tying: Crosswise detachable leather suspenders and leather waistband in Coffee Brown color, whose length can be increased or decreased and adjusted to body type, offering comfort, functionality and at the same time an excellent, elegant result in appearance.

Metallic Elements: The rings, grommets, rivets and hooks are made of high quality durable materials mainly in brushed bronze color.

Cleaning:

Packaging: Wooden made box with a laser engraving artwork that matches the one of the apron.
